Most Complicated Rube Goldberg Machine - Current world record
1.
A Rube Goldberg machine can be described as a machine
that performs a rather simple task in an overly complicated fashion.
At the 2012 national Rube Goldberg Machine Contest,
taking place at Purdue University on 31 March 2012,
a machine built by the Purdue Society of Professional Engineers Rube Goldberg Team completed a flawless run of 300 steps.
As a result, the machine not only pops a balloon (which was the tasks for the 2012 contest), but also
solves all task from the contests 1988-2011 "en route".
